Terms and Conditions for the QfindQ App

Welcome to QfindQ!  These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the QfindQ mobile application (“the app”), which provides psychology-inspired quizzes and tests for self-discovery and entertainment. By downloading or using QfindQ, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the app.

Purpose of the App – For Entertainment Only
    QfindQ is designed for fun and personal insight. All quizzes and test results are provided for entertainment and educational purposes only, and are not professional psychological advice or diagnosis. The tests are not clinically validated, so please do not base important decisions on the results. If any result doesn’t feel accurate about you, trust yourself — the app might be wrong. Always consult a qualified professional for serious personal or mental health concerns.

Privacy and Data
    We value your privacy. QfindQ may collect certain information to improve the user experience. The app does not store test results. Users may choose to save their results in app or by taking screenshots for personal use. Any personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy (see the app’s settings for the full policy).     This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we safeguard it. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as described in the Privacy Policy (for instance, analytics or services that help us run the app). User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use
    Using QfindQ should be a positive experience for everyone. By using the app, you agree to use it only for its intended purpose – personal entertainment and self-discovery. Please do not attempt to misuse the app or access its services in unauthorized ways. This means you agree not to: reverse-engineer or copy the app’s code or content, use the app to violate any laws or regulations, or interfere with the app’s normal functioning. If you engage in prohibited activities or violate these Terms, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to QfindQ.

Intellectual Property
    All content in QfindQ – including the quizzes, questions, results interpretations, design, logos, and graphics – is our intellectual property (or licensed to us) and is protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, limited license to use the app and its content for non-commercial, personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, or create derivative works from any part of the app without our prior written permission. This means you can enjoy the quizzes yourself, but you can’t copy or repost our questions or content as your own project.

Purchases and Payments
    QfindQ is free to download and use. Some optional features or content in the app may require a purchase. When making a purchase through Google Play, you will see the price and any applicable terms clearly in the app. All payments are processed securely via your Google Play account, and no financial information is stored by QfindQ. Purchased content (for example, a premium test pack) will be accessible once payment is confirmed. No refunds are provided for digital purchases after you have gained access to the content, except where required by law or Google Play’s refund policies. If QfindQ is discontinued or removed from the marketplace, previously purchased content, including the PRO feature, will no longer be accessible, and no refunds will be provided. If you have any issues with billing or purchases, please contact us so we can assist.

Disclaimers
    We strive to make QfindQ enjoyable and informative, but there are some important disclaimers:

• No Warranties: QfindQ is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no guarantees that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your expectations. While we do our best to provide quality content, we do not warrant that the results or interpretations from quizzes will be accurate, absolute, or suitable for any particular purpose. Using the app is your own choice and responsibility.
• Not Professional Advice: The quizzes are not a substitute for professional advice.
• QfindQ and its content are not intended to provide medical, psychological, legal, or any other professional advice. While the app is developed with the contribution of Alin Sarac, a psychologist with a master’s degree in clinical psychology, this contribution does not imply scientific validation or professional counseling. The app is meant purely for fun, reflection, and personal exploration, and should not be used as a diagnostic tool or substitute for professional psychological assessment. Please consult a qualified professional if you need such assistance.
• QfindQ allows users to save their results locally on their device through the 'Save this Result' feature. However, please note that if the app is uninstalled and reinstalled, all locally saved results will be permanently lost.

Limitation of Liability
    To the fullest extent permitted by law, the QfindQ team (the developer and any collaborators) will not be liable for any damages or losses arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app. This includes, for example, any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or any loss of data, loss of goodwill, or emotional distress that might result from using our quizzes or relying on their results. By using QfindQ, you understand and agree that we cannot be held responsible for how you interpret or act upon your quiz results. If you are unhappy with any part of the app or these Terms, your sole remedy is to stop using the app.

Updates and Changes
    QfindQ is an evolving service – we may add new quizzes, change features, or fix bugs to improve your experience. Thus, the content and features of the app may change over time. We reserve the right to review, modify, or remove any quizzes or content in the app at any time, without prior notice. (Don’t worry, we only do this to keep things fresh, relevant, and fun!) We also reserve the right to update these Terms as needed. If we make important changes to the Terms, we will do our best to inform you (for example, via an in-app notification or an update note). However, we encourage you to check the Terms periodically. Continuing to use        QfindQ after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law
    QfindQ is intended for users worldwide, but as developers, we operate from Romania. Therefore, these Terms are governed by the laws of Romania without regard to conflict of law principles. This means any dispute that might arise between you and QfindQ in relation to the app or these Terms shall be resolved under the laws of Romania. If you live in a country with mandatory consumer protection laws, you still retain the rights afforded by those laws.
